Rock Songs to Listen to Before Bed?

That’s right, a recent study evaluated the best songs to listen to before bed, and some of the classic rock tunes managed to make the list. They evaluated hundreds of tracks across 10 metrics to determine what makes us feel restful before we lie down to sleep.

To establish the metrics they would use, they measured several factors across 100 lullabies in several different ways. Among the metrics taken into consideration included the number of beats per bar (time signature), tempo, whether vocals were featured, whether it used a minor or major scale, and others.

Then, based on those metrics, they scored 500 rock songs to see where they’d land on a scale of 0 to 100, where the higher the number, the better it was among songs to listen to before bed.
